Business Advisor conducted a detailed intake assessment to understand the cooperative’s operations, challenges, and needs. The cooperative was referred to and enrolled in a mentorship programme run by Basic needs in partnership with SEDFA, focusing on cooperative governance, financial management, and strategic planning. SEDFA supplemented the programme with targeted mentorship in basic business planning and operational guidance, while monitoring progress and assisting with documentation for funding and market readiness.

Completion of a mentorship strengthened governance, financial management, and market readiness.
