In addition, piggery business requires a machine cutter to improve processing efficiency and increase overall production capacity. With these critical resources, the business will be able to scale its operations, meet rising market demand, and contribute meaningfully to local economic development. ❖ Lack of Business Management Skills – Another significant challenge is the need for business management skills training. The owner requires training to effectively manage day-to-day operations, improve decision-making, and strengthen administrative and financial management practices. Intervention Insights and Results

Intervention Details: The business was supported by SEFDA through Business Management Skills Training aimed at strengthening my entrepreneurial and operational capabilities.

SEFDA assisted Uthewabona (Pty) Ltd with its application to the NYDA for the Youth Fund and further linked the business with the NYDA for additional business development.
Outcome Details: The application for funding was approved through the NYDA Grant Programme to the value of R9,993.45.

The client also gained valuable skills by completing the Basic Business Management Skills Training at SEDFA, enhancing their capacity to effectively manage and sustain their business operations.
