Business Dynamics and Challenges
Business Activities:
Igrovest group decided to diversify their production cycle by planting Kalahari Melon, manufacturing fertilizers and Bee Keeping. The company is using the same piece of land for these activities which assists in saving costs and maintaining the same quality. The company is also in the process of developing a new product, body lotion, which is currently in the development stage. The product will undergo lab testing upon completion.
Challenges/Needs:
Igrovest Group (Pty) Ltd has limited capacity due to availability of prepared land. This is primarily due to availability of a tractor which is currently shared amongst other farmers in the area. The company could benefit from owning a bigger tractor. The company approached Seda to benefit from overall business development services and support. Their goal is to increase production and ensure quality outputs are achieved through QMS and product certification. They want to be assisted with barcoding, and marketing of the product.
